Cocaine. Is it fatal to people with small capillaries

Since cocaine dissolves into the blood system via small capillaries in the nostils, is it possible for someone with extremely small capillaries to die from cocaine use even if they used it once? I ask the question because a doctor told one of my friends that he can tell that he has never done cocaine, since if he did, he would be dead since his capillaries are so small. I say bs, since they just help to get it into your blood stream, not increase the chance of death. does anyone know otherwise?

Bullsh!t.... why the fvck would someone have capillaries that were significantly different in size from someone else. If a capillary was "too small," a red blood cell wouldn't fit in it and would defeat the point of having capillaries.

What kind of wack ass doctor would say that to a patient? (your post makes it sound like it was out of the blue, which makes it even more odd)

I seriously doubt it, if the human body were that sensitive then caffeine & just about any other stimulant would kill us too. The only coke-related deaths I've heard of are people with abnormal hearts and those in bad physical shape doing too much. That being said, it's retarded 😛 Stick with the dank 😉

Well, pretty much the only recreational drug that won't kill you is LSD. You'll go completely insane, but you can't OD, IIRC.

hmm.
im pretty sure marijuana wont kill you at least not in the short term. long term usage, sure i will give that to you.
you cannot OD on marijuana in the same way as heroin or cocaine that would cause death.
and i can see LSD killing someone. if you give them enough LSD, i almost guarantee it could kill a person, probably from a heart attack.

You'd have to smoke something like 40lbs in a 2 hour time-frame to OD on marijuana; that'd be like a wheelbarrel full. For all intents and purposes, it'd be impossible; you'd pass out far in advance of even making a dent in that amount.

Cocaine can be fatal to all people, regardless of capillary size.

Thought it'd be interesting to mention that alcohol is relatively easy to fatally od on - I've read that about 5,000 people do it annually in the US alone.

you win.

Even so, they'd only be doing a smaller line and just have to take a little more time to do the rest of the line. If the same amount of cocaine is going in, the hole that lets it in isn't going to be the problem...

cocaine can kill anyone.

as for small capillaries, everyone has the same size capillaries. one red cell in width. your friend most likely misunderstood his doctor.

Some guy died in the UK from smoking it for 40 years.

In humans, capillary lumens range from 4-9 microns in size, with the average being 8 microns. The minium lumen size necessary to prevent plugging of a red blood cell is 2.3 microns as reported in "Section 2: Cardiovascular System," in Best and Taylor's Physiological Basis of Medical Practice.

That is just because more people try to with alcohol then other drugs.

It wont directly kill you, but the sh!t you'll do while tripping might.
