Well, I may get flak for this but whatever, alcohol is technically more addictive and dangerous than most illegal drugs. Death from alcohol withdrawl is as common as it is in other illegal drugs. The majority of people will only experience jumpiness, sleeplessness, and sweating if they're lucky; or tremors, convulsions, hallucinations if it's serious.

im pretty sure marijuana wont kill you at least not in the short term. long term usage, sure i will give that to you.
you cannot OD on marijuana in the same way as heroin or cocaine that would cause death.
and i can see LSD killing someone. if you give them enough LSD, i almost guarantee it could kill a person, probably from a heart attack.

you are not actually overdosing on the drug (thc).. you would die from asphyixiation..

alchohol isnt addictive at all, its more of a i want to drink then I have to thing.. i have been on and off all the time, and it has no side effects :\ btw I feel fine after 24hrs and have no craving whatsoever

btw vodka was the drink of choice for every aloholic i've known.. guess its the (lack of) taste plus cheapness

There're no physical withdrawl symptoms associated with pot, as it's not a physically addicitve drug in the first place. Many other drugs, nicotine, alcohol, and heroin among them, are chemically addictive. Pot is as addictive as anything else you do for pleasure; reading, watching tv, browsing ATOT , etc.

Edit: the physical withdrawl symptoms associated with heroin are probably the worst out there. The shakes and extreme nausea are common and withdrawl can be fatal. Haven't you see The Basketball Diaries?

But the heroin addict will recover. An alcoholic quitting cold fish will most likely die from the increase in brain activity.
