Not at all. Bush couldn't speak (I truly wonder if he is dyslectic) well publically, and surely was far more direct than normal for a modern day Politician. Certainly he made mistakes. But at Bidens level of dumb? Biden actually believes what he's saying. This isn't a joke flub, or a delivery stumble. Biden is delivering what he planned to say, it's just that he is so F'ing stupid when it's delivered it's almost unbelievable.

I stand by my statements...Bushs decisions had far greater magnitude, Bidens comments far deeper level of stupidity. Obama is an amazing Spender, but, I pray to god nothing happens to him. Caribou Barbie would be a better option that Biden.

Chuck

I'm going to end with this here, as it's not really the subject. You Bush voters are nothing if not predictable. The well worn appeal of "Bush just isn't a good speaker" is the very definition of apologetic denial. I'm not denying that Biden says and probably believes some unfounded hilarious things, but I never heard him say, in all seriousness, that he "believes humans and fish can coexist peacefully." Compare their debates. Biden is gruff, but displays working knowledge of subject matter. Bush freezes and looks around for help, minutes of silence go by and he looks like he's pissing his pants - because he doesn't know what to say!

Eccentric gaffe prone politician != nepotistic retarded puppet politician. Both are bad in my book, one clearly worse than the other.

If Biden was as dumb as you believe, he simply wouldn't have the status of one of the best Washington insiders there is. He was chosen as VP for a reason, but his personalty brings baggage. Bush could probably contest Biden's knowledge on baseball, perhaps also fishing - but if you think he'd win any real test of smarts with anyone without realtime couching from handlers, then we need to speak about this bridge that's for sale...

If Bush was as intellectually capable as you guys wish he was, he wouldn't have a long history of avoiding education and responsibility, he wouldn't be synonymous with butchery of English and slow, short sighted thinking. He'd be doing something, ANYTHING, of merit like other past presidents, instead of painting pictures and clearing brush.
What am I saying? Shit, I'm sure the GWB Ivy League lecture circuit on Constitutional Law, Political Science and Emerging Economies will be starting any day now. Just wait. Really. It'll happen.

How the hell would that work? Most people don't have belt fed guns. And it's duct tape.

I'll take this to mean you aren't familiar with semi-automatic rifles, no worries.

A magazine can be doubled all impromptu like with duck tape and pieces of material that function as a spacer. Tape mags together to double on hand capacity, it's called a duplex mag. There are also composite molded parts that can hold mags together for the same purpose. It's a bit Hollywood and certainly not a good idea if you are infantry and subject to weather, but in a pinch a shooter could basically double (or triple) smaller mags together to have more than the allowed number of rounds ready to go with minimal delay.

I was not, repeat NOT, submitting than someone like Lanza could roll rounds between lengths of duck tape and somehow turn an AR-15 into a belt fed SAW or M240.

What Kage69 is referring to is something like this....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQpfQd1397E

Well those guys went WAY overboard to show how absurd people can get with customizing their AR platform. Still, one can see that there are indeed several magazines all taped together and ready to change out at a moments notice.

I heard a response from an official defending her, saying that she MEANT to say "clips" (because that is how many clips were meant to be used on the battlefield), so what she said was not untrue, she simply misspoke. Which is of course a bold faced lie, because she DOES want to ban MAGAZINES, per the actual definition.

1. I've seen no suggestion that clips be restricted. So, yeah, she clearly wasn't talking about those.

2. I don't think there are clips out there that hold more than 5-10 rounds either.

3. While true that some clips are made to be disposable they can be, and are, reused.

She is ignorant as hell but has the gall to vote on legislation. And then her spokesman's response doubled down on it for the reasons fern mentioned. Clips are small, are indeed reloadable, and irrelevant to a modern assault weapon anyway. Silly bitch.

Anybody who has ever seen a movie should know this :)

Thank you waggy, but in case he doesn't consider Wally World classification a valid source:

http://duckbrand.com/duck-tape-club/history-of-duck-tape

"So how did this sticky wonder come about? It was World War II and there was a need for a strong, flexible, durable, waterproof tape that could seal canisters, repair cracked windows, repair trucks and help the war effort in general. Permacell, a division of the Johnson and Johnson Company, stepped up to this challenge."

I have faith he can make the waterproof/fowl connection. ;)

C'mon now. Being ignorant and fearful doesn't make her a bitch. That word and the other one are used way too much (IMO).

Did you watch the other clip where she talked to the elderly man?

I lived in Colorado and know that she's fat, ugly and stupid and those are her good points.

I know, I know...it's scary when you get told the manufactured reality you've built for yourself at the singularly most dumb POTUS ever who simultaneously was somehow smart enough that he schooled the entire US to get his agenda pushed, Congress (when Rep controlled), Congress (when Dem controlled), and whoever else was needed to enact his mission of terror isn't as dumb as the mental character of him that you've created in your mind. I mean, you've been telling yourselves this to each other for like, a decade now, that to even have a nano-thought that just possibly because you didn't agree with this agenda that he's not quite as dim as you jizz down the pants think he is, is so troubling, you make posts like...well, like the above. The "intellectual elite" start getting really haughty when you suggest they're not as elite as they think they are it appears... :D

As for Biden, he was brought on board, obviously, to balance out Obama's blackness and, of course, to bring in the votes he could bring in. You can't possibly think it was for his mental prowess, can you? Can you? Oh god, I think you do...shudder...

You know what? I didn't watch that second one. I stand corrected, bitch status confirmed. I'm not sure she insulted him, but that she delivered that idiocy so flippantly and with a snarky, patronizing smile tells me that I was wrong. That lady is a straight up Bitch.

"They'll be there within minutes.." Wow... the word 'ignorant' now seems so weak in regards to her.

Regards to her? This is the gun grabber base dude. This is all of them, they just don't expose themselves like this fool did. Why do you think basically no one who is pro-2A is in any mood to cede any 2A rights to those loons?

lol *golf clap*

Get it all out chucky, there you go, vent away and pretend Rove/Cheney and post 9/11 sentiment meant nothing... feel better now? I do, but that's probably from you validating that whole predictability thing.

I really appreciate the laughs your very standardized retorts have produced, but we have to let this thread be about a certain braindead Dem from Colorado. One or two posts is fine, but let's not carried away and get frothy about nano thoughts and jizzes down pants!

I disagree. I've heard gun control advocates make their case without resorting to that kind of disrespect or lame cop outs. A lot of gun fearing people know damn well ARs aren't going anywhere and just want more background checks. Many I've engaged in conversation have conceeded that if you have no criminal record you should be able to own whatever firearm you want. I think my car fatality / car engine comparisons have been effective.

I'm sensing this need to group all opponents into one category from you. Sorry, but that's stupid.

The problem is, the gun grabbers vote as a block. It has already been proven in the past, if you give them an inch, their voting block will try and take a mile, and succeed in taking 1/2 mile.

So while I have no problem with the background checks (and even myself proposed a nice and easy "free" ((in quotes because like anything Fed run, it's not free but "free")) eSolution that would satisfy both sides concerns on this), acquiescing to the gun grabbers on background checks simply is just another 100m we've given them until their next grab.

In light of this Reality, I can't support anything. Perhaps you've talked to sane gun grabbers. Truthfully, I have to; never said I hadn't. This though is the gun grabber base. There is no reasoning with them because they are simply incapable of reasoning...which this chick obviously shows.

Why does it seem like the dumbest bastards are the ones who rise to power? What ever happened to intelligent but evil?

Amazing, it's like you actually believe me citing Bush's feeble grey matter somehow equals me claiming Biden is some kind of genius - even after I indicated I believe no such thing.

lol "BDS'rs" - yup, there's that insightful creativity you guys are renowned for. Do go on and keep proving my point, by all means. :)

I think this is a sensible post, I might not agree with it 100% but I think you bring up some good points. And all it took was for you to put down that bucket of fail you carry for Bush, and the ax you need to grind for Biden.

This is where I'd make a comment about the true meaning of Bush Derangement Syndrome. But don't worry, I won't. ;)
