Yep, marginal gun control laws will get passed, most supported by the NRA and President Trump will get credit. Thanks chumps.
Watching gun fetishists do backflips on their support for even minor gun control laws puts a huge smile on my face.

You guys went from “shall not be infringed” to “gun control laws are ok” in 2.6 seconds.

What happened to that slippery slope we kept hearing about?

Ok someone explain to me how this story makes sense given the actual facts. The kid claims he was asked to do a speech. CNN claims he was asked to detail his question a little more but it became clear he wanted to give a speech and not adhere to the format they planned for the event.

So who else gave a speech? I saw no student give a speech. Just ask their questions. Some even made it clear they were asked not to step outside the format. So why did this kid get asked for a speech when clearly no one else did? They took efforts to avoid that.

So that brings us to the other possibility. Suppression of his question itself. During the town hall having armed guards and arming teachers was discussed repeatedly. So clearly they were not trying to avoid the topic.

So why does this story make sense in the face of what actually happened last night?

If anyone watched the town hall, it is clear that it doesn't make sense. Either miscommunication or he's lying. But you are asking people who believe everything Fox News tells them to actually question their propaganda? Good Luck.

We'll see what actually gets passed. My bet is i'll be happy and you'll be pissed.

Always wondered: do the Dems have something like CPAC every year, where they very publically organize an event where the big-monied party members curry favor with their coporate owners and rather hilariously fellate each other on stage, with no real concern for irony?

Asking honestly, because they must, right?
If I were a conservative, I'd say the closest thing to it would be the Oscars or the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

I watched the whole thing--there was one adult who gave what sounded like a speech, but asked a very small question at the end. Also, one mom just read a poem. Not sure why this kid wasn't just allowed to speak but I can imagine CNN producers feeling this kid might get booed by the crowd, asking his dad about it and dad pulling him out.

It's a win win for Democrats, so I'm happy either way. Either we win with gun laws now or inaction now means a big win in November.
Nah, attention spans are too short. If a kid shoots up a school on his way to the polls it might affect the election.

It's all a bunch of deflection bullshit. Taj has been working up a sweat these past few days because he's scared of what's coming down the pike.

Keep it up my fidgety friend.

If only it could have been longer...
You're still Canadian and still just as obnoxious about things that have zero effect on you as before.
Don't bother replying, you're on ignore after this.

Not Canadian, If you want to ignore me go ahead I won't be upset but I'll miss schooling you though.
