without a doubt it could be underground, alot of his stuff already was. I do not think you could call his WMD programs unrealized, whether he was still making or just trying to hold onto a small stockpile or even just the equipment and technology, they were proficient at producing them in mass quantities.
But that's not what Bush and his minions said: "thousands of liters", "mushroom clouds", "these are facts, not assertions". You can quibble about the definition of "lie" all you want, but it is obvious they didn't tell the truth.

I don't think even if they haven't found any WMD by election time it will affect Bush, the only ones who really care about this issue would not vote for him anyway and still wouldn't even if he produced everything he claimed he knew.
Most sheeple care about what they're told to care about. If the Dems have the guts, they have plenty of ammunition they can use against Bush. Unfortunately, it can be used against many of them as well since they lacked the integrity to stand up to Bush and support a view that was politically unpopular at the time.

They'll just pass it off... Viz: reporter ask Democrat... "well what about this.. you supported blah blah... " Democrat say's "The President lied and you ask me about support that was based ON that lie... come on Mark... Now.. I've called on Chairman Warner to open immediate hearings and under oath.... we will get to the bottom of this and fast..." Them sheepies are owls dressed in wolf cloths with sheep heads on....

It's good that they found SOMETHING for a start. It is great that a scientist came foward. I think the biggest deal about this finding is the help the US recieved. It will take the people who participated these programs to uncover what happened. There are too many places to hide stuff in Iraq, it will be really tough with out more support from the people who were directly involved.

Just what I thought, didn't read the entire thread, just the CNN article.

lmao drewshin. It is so true though.

Either way, Saddam should not of lied and instigated this war. We are in real danger of WMD delivered by terrorists and we had no idea what connections Saddam had. For Saddam to do such a thing was cowardly and showed how much of a nut case he was.

Now that the death toll of American soldiers have risen above 200, It is very hard to justify this war. Many Iraqi kids lost their lives as well. However this may only be a small price in the future if Iraq does take advantage of its freedom.
