Blackberry Storm, anyone?
The storm is a piece of shit, but can you blame RIM for trying to come out with a phone that catered to the current flavor of the week in cell phones? The storm IS a good example of a copycat device, but it's a poor example of a company that has simply sucked Apple's balls and followed their lead. RIM makes their money on phones that are very different from anything Apple puts out and they absolutely dominate the smartphone market.
My point is simply that now that Apple has put out a touchscreen phone, everyone must be copying them when they also put out a phone with touchscreens. The Droid is a great example. You call it an iPhone clone, but in reality it has a lot of things that differentiate it from the iPhone, including a keyboard.
oh well, I guess you're right. Apple is the best and no other company in the world can possibly think of the brilliant and earth shattering products they launch every year.
