Holy Crap.... Can't believe its confirmed. All over the news now. Good going to our boys for putting away these horrible tyrants. I seriously doubted the first news releases.

"We had a walk-in last night that came in and gave us the information," Sanchez said, adding that they expected to pay the $15 million reward offered for information leading to the death or capture of each of Saddam's sons.

Actually I feel a bit safer for the troops....having this news go out to the Iraqi public will hopefully put out some of the fighting. Just Saddam himself is left now....they think.

90-95% sure it was them. can you imagine being one of the soldiers outside that house? sweeet!

Yeah, that would be so sweet, getting shot at all day, then getting to kill 4 people and find out one of them was a teenage kid. I bet you'd feel so great.

A nineteen year old can be considered a teenager. A 19 year old who would most likely have no problems with putting a bullet between an American soldier's eyes.

Am I the only one that thinks that there's nothing to really celebrate? Isn't their deaths questionable especially since the U.S. force's presence in Iraq itself has come into question lately? I'm all for justice and do believe that bin lad/etc. etc. should be killed.. But how is this killing hussein's kids exactly justice, especially as Americans (I do understand that as far as Karma goes, these guys probably deserved what was coming to them but why should their death sentence come from the U.S. and why should it be celebrated by us?)

Two-hundred members of the 101st Airborne Division also joined the assault, and no one was captured, a U.S. official told CNN Pentagon Correspondent Barbara Starr.

I'm fairly certain there was no intent to capture. Fine by me, though.

:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer: <---I'll buy for the division!!!

That "teenager" was probably shooting at them along with everyone else in the house. If not, sh!t happens.

They were the two biggest scumbags in Iraq. My only regret is the 101st didnt chop them up alive with needle-nose pliers instead of the quick and easy death they got.

You do know that there were more reason's than (WMD) to go into Iraq for right??? Killing of the Kurds by gas, torchering their own people ....the thousands of bodies being found all of this time is evidence enough. Also, who said they were celebrating?

These guys were first class son's of b1tches, it's not like they were innocent bystanders.

Not untill it is your 14 year old that got kill.

What the US doing is similar to what the Israelies/Sharon is doing killing people unjustly. I what about taking them to the world court so we can at least hear their side of the story befor the kangaroo court hang them.

Does it make us any better than them when we cheers that our boys have a kill?

Hypocrite!

This is one of those occasions that I will make the exception, and actually feel elated that someone has been killed! Serve those bastards right, now if we could only figure out where their daddy is hiding at and also send him to meet his maker.

Their first objective was to capture them alive, if possible. But according to interviews on NPR and MSNBC this morning, there was heavy fire fighting, and in such situations their primary objective is to disable the threat, killing if needed.

I have a feeling that daddy's lost his mind and probably doesn't even know where he is now.

I would rather see Saddam personally captured and tried publically. No secret tribunal. Might answer a lot of questions out there.

It's not you who's supposed to feel safe, it's the millions of Iraquis that faced the threat of torture and death by those two murderers. Believe it or not, it's not all about you.

This is war. War doesnt give a flying F whether itself is just or not, if you are part of it you are eligible to get your ass killed, that goes for both sides. So for all you whiners out there, you need to STFU. Reality is brutal! war is brutal! open your history book and show me a war thats humane.

I can't beleive those boneheads were still in the country!

Even though I don't drink, I will raise one  to the 101st Airborne and the Spec Ops guys who accomplished this.
