Cloning hard drive onto a drive that's 6MB smaller?

I'm guessing the software needed drivers loaded to properly recognize the raid array instead of two separate drives. So running it from within Windows provided those drivers and everything else ran fine from there.

I've seen cases like this before when cloning, sometimes drives just aren't recognized correctly by the cloning software (especially if they're on non-standard IDE controllers). But it usually works out ok if you start the process from Windows and do a reboot.
