Another story, different angle.

Well, not entirely different angle, but Yahoo's take on it. It specifically talks about Clinton referring to his impeachment as an "egregious abuse" of the Constitution.

Slick will never learn that he wasn't impeached for having sex with a fat intern. He was impeached for perjuring himself repeatedly to a federal grand jury, and, with respect to that, obstructing justice along the way.

About something that had no buisness being asked about except to smear him.
His private life is just that, and going on endlessly like anyone except partisan hacks care about the fact he had a mistress is laughable.

You never will get it, will you? He used government property and did so in the Oval Office. Then he didn't have the backbone to simply say "Yep, I did that and it was great!". Must have thought it was great as he did it more than once. The whole compromise thing just went past you too, didn't it?

It was a mistress whoopee! At least he is getting blown unlike you self-loathing sex-haters.

JFK was boning Marylin Monroe :camera: supposedly too, as long as he kept the commies at bay and could juggle the hotties in his personal life (his wife was pretty hot too) go for it.

Women dig powerful, smart, and comassionate men, sucks to be a republican huh?

At least Republicans don't have to get their cops to get women for them and they don't have to use the house help! Talk about a loser!

Reagan, on the other hand, committed much more serious crimes (particularly in connection with Iran-Contra), then lied to Congress about them. His death was treated as a national holiday, and Republicans are practically calling for his canonization.

He did have to get our hostages back and fix the stuff that Carter muffed!

So arming iran and totally throwing the concept of us NEVER negotiating with terrorists out the window was a just action to take? Or is it ok to negotiate with terrorists and even train them if a republican does it?

this thread is an example of why so many people steer well away from P&N.

as for the OP, can you Republicans just stop talking about Clinton? who cares what he's doing or saying right now because he isn't the president now nor does he have any political power whatsoever. why don't you focus your barbaric hatred of the leftwing on those who are actually in power? seriously, answer my question.

Clinton clearly made a mistake, and I think everyone in America realizes that he made a big mistake. However, we all realize that his mistake was definitely a personal and private matter that had nothing his ability to lead as president of the US. Ever wonder why his approval ratings were so goddamn high......it's because you moronic right-wingers attempted (and FAILED) to smear him and vilify him, which in turn caused the public to actually have sympathy for the man. It's sad though, that a man can do all that and still double George W. Bush's approval ratings :)

Hey, when the terrorists come and knock America on it's ass again, then you'll be begging daddy "Bush" to take action again. The problem we have in this country, is you have too many spout offs who want this and that done, as retaliation, but then when you get what you really thought you wanted, you did not like the magnitude of the revenge that your minds conjured up. :Q

I like a president who stands up and sends a message out to the world, which says: We take no sh!t from any terrorists. You mess with us, we're coming to get you. If we go elect a bunch spineless weinies in the future, you'll wish Bush was president. No wonder we are a loathed country! Most of that is jealousy. But what I hate most is people who are here because they hated their circumstances where they were, then have the audacity to talk down the very institutions that let them come to this country to begin with. I've listened to immigrants who talk smack about Americans right here on our own soil.

And, you know, people who must bitch and complain about living here, really need to go do it your way....somewhere else. I think you'll find that life isn't any rosier elsewhere.

I'm sorry that 2000+ have died. There is a price to pay for everything. I don't agree with the way it was all handled, but given the circumstances that brought us to this, I believe we did what we needed to do. Now support our mission and let it follow through. Dissention is not going to draw this country out of this any faster. Get on board, or shut up. ;)

bush is the terrorists best friend and recruiting tool.

obl could not have been luckier to strike at a time when a incompetent bumbling fool on a wanna-be texan cowboy trip sent the reputation of this country into the sh1tter ran the show.

divide and conquer and daddy bush *puke* played right into his hands.

BTW your daddy bush loves those immigrants you can't stand.

Dude, you should seriously go see a shrink. I'm really concerned about your mental state. Show proof of your statements, or STFU!

Wow, it looks like we found one of the 36% who are too busy or something to learn about their world enough to know better then to support this idiot in his scam anymore.

I find it ammusing that the same guys who impeached Clinton over perjury are calling the indictment against Scooter Libby under the same charge a baseless fishing excersize orchastrated by the vast left wing conspiracy

Hmmm, I find it interesting that someone could talk about bush without attacking him. How could you say anything good about him? What has he done? Nothing... He is a pathetic loser....

The last two were a legacy to him from his father which helped him attain the first. I bet he has a lot more failures than the vast majority of us too.

You're comparing apples to oranges. Clinton had already been sanctioned for lying under oath. Libby hasn't even had his trial yet.

Thanks for playing :)

No, genius, he's comparing your party's hypocrisy over indicting Clinton vs their cry baby nonsense attacking an indictment against Libby that hasn't even gone to trial yet.

The Bushies exhibiting exactly the mentality that led to a failed impeachment over a bj while they ignore and defend serious crimes at the highest levels of government that have led to tens of thousands of deaths, hundreds of billions of dollars wasted, increasing terrorism, and destroying America's name throughout the world.

Keep laughing you loons, just remember, you're laughing in the minority now. The rest of America is finally waking up and they're mad as hell, not laughing.
