press here for the story

<< "Unlike them, I have apologized to the American people for what I did wrong, and most Americans think I paid a pretty high price," Clinton said. "They never apologized to the country for impeachment, they never apologized for all the things they've done." >>

Riiiggghhht. What price did you pay, Slick Willie?

I mean, he never even paid to have the dress cleaned!

Give me a break -- he should have resigned for lying in a legal proceeding and is now fighting his state bar over their impartial ethics proceeding against him (which shares the support of a federal judge). His legacy will be his suffering, and he has richly deserved every minute of it.

Clinton did all those bad things but ask yourself one question. If he could run again, would you vote for him instead of Bush? I would. I still think he is a good president and the next joker will not be a good president.

I didn't vote for him the first two times, why would I vote for him if he could run again. He has done nothing significant for me (in my eyes and veiwpoints) Remember, the President does not make the economy, the economy makes the President. The next man, whether it be Bush or Gore will probably be a one termer as I can see the economy taking a dump in about 2-3 years.

Actually in my parents church it was the Choir leader sclepping the next door neighbors 16 year old daughter. But how I lost my interest in religion is an entirely different story.

Republicans can't apologize? Do you consider Clinton getting on TV and shedding crocodile tears to be an apology? And then have the audacity to whine like a crybaby "You can't take away my law license. <sob>"

Politicians, fsck 'em all.

But C'mon, Red. What price did Clinton pay that he shouldn't have paid? Who told him that the Monica Lewinsky Ride was only going to cost him a good cigar going bad from being wet and stinky? Why should the people forgive and forget the man for disgracing the Office and for the boldface lies and coverups that would only benefit HIM and not the people. There have been plenty of incidents where a President has lied and covered up in the name of the country and himself, but very few where the lies and coverups where just for him. The man is a.......well, I'll let you fill in the blanks.

the fact that the president of the US would lower himself by personaly attacking a presidential canidate is really low class and unprofessional. of course we all know that being low is nothing new to clinton and the fact that he has publicly commented has only made Bush's chances all that much better. so keep on spoutin off at the yap ya f'uckin hillbilly.....your only helpin' bush....:)

that "no sexual relations" bull was nothing.
He sold our national arms to china.
He rented Lincoln bedroom to the world.
He increased NATO troops but decreated our national army.

The Republicans routinely go against the wishes of the American people. Perhaps they should apologize. Maybe even on a weekly basis...like every Friday or something.

Red's so embittered with the country for not agreeing with his political views he chooses to rip the Republicans.. don't worry about him though, he doesn't know any better and fortunately nobody agrees with him.

That's a good idea. It could be scheduled to take place each week after the Democrats get done with their weekly apologies.

Red: You do not think that Clit-on defiled the office of the President of the United States of America in his actions and in his deliberate avoidance of admission and continual lies to the American people? The guy practically shot his load on the Presidential seal (more like the President's walrus), and you think there's no harm in that? Then, we have the President, not just some guy, the President, lying in court when asked a very obvious question about "sexual relations". The guy is a lawyer and lies in court while sitting as the Executive in charge of enforcing laws -- that does not qualify as deplorable behavior?

Perhaps he didn't deserve to be convicted and forced from office, but he damn well brought upon himself the shame of impeachment and the inevitable stain (double entendre intended) on the history books from his time in office. The Republicans have nothing to apologize for -- that responsibility rests squarely on William Jefferson Clinton.

That redneck should still be apologizing for disrespecting the office. Reagan never took off his suit jacket in the oval office. This hick thinks it's ok to get hummers on company time. Screw him and his ugly two-faced "wife." I can't wait to see Al Bore and Hilary lose next Tuesday.

I can't understand how anyone that doesn't know what "is" is can reach any such conclusion. Nor how he could ever have been elected Pres even once. Aaargh!

Well said, dwell. I couldn't agree more. He sure has balls making a comment like that. I personally find it amusing that now he's pissed about it because the magazine ran the interview. It's the same thing all over again. He's trying to put the blame/responsibility for his words and actions on someone else. He'll always be Slick Willy.

Democrats, Republicans; what's the difference?

Anyone who hasn't changed party affiliations at least three times in their life is Brain Dead.

Will you wear the same underwear your whole life? Obviously, most of you do since you also keep the same life-long, political party affiliation. There'd be more than two viable political parties if you weren't so retentive.

B1tch and moan all you want; it doesn't change the fact that you're part of the problem: you can't think for yourself, you gotta toe the Party Line or you get confused.

We have loser politicans because we have loser voters.

Simple.

Doh.

I don't have to worry about changing underwear. I like going commando style (no underwear).

If you ask me, Clinton had to pay the worst price a man could pay: the humiliation of having the entire world know you were unfaithful to your wife, and lied to her about it.
