:) on Daily Show

Too bad Fundies still judge him, even though he actually confessed his "sin" later on, but of course no one realizes that.

**EDIT**
BTW, I don't idolize the guy. People fail, and this guy failed in a big way. But that still doesn't mean he was a bad person.

I have other people from history I look up to, and they lived better lives than Clinton for sure, but Clinton is making a difference in the world now, and that makes him a good guy.

Yeah, I was watching the 1:00AM rerun of the daily show in the backrground while I was surfing the web when Jon Stewart announced "Bill Clinton" and I stopped what I was doing and watched it.

I really do like the guy, despite his flaws. He was the first president that I came to have any appreciation for as I was too young to care (Reagan, Bush Sr.). But I was in 7th grade when the 1992 elections came around and that's when I started being interest in politics.

He seriously has done a lot of things within his presidency and outside of his presidency. If you take away all the polarizing factors away, partisanship and such, you would see all of the great things he has done.

BTW, I don't tie myself to any specific political faction. I will vote for who I agree with the most.

**EDIT**

The only people who don't like him are peopel who focus on his adultery (which is very, very bad BTW). They don't even think about the perjury really. But little do people realize that he actually had a session with key religious leaders in America where he confessed his "sin" (he actually used that word). Of course, Fundies are so legalistic, that doesn't matter to them.

Oh, come on. I like Clinton, and I'm not even American. He just seems like a really down to earth guy. And that Global initative sounds like a great idea!

I never cared for him as a president, but I think he's doing great stuff now after his time in office.

I certainly like him better than his wife...

Yeah, the US needs more lying, cheating, ruthless, murdering Presidents that can shake off most accusations with his "Good 'ol Boy" charm and appeal. Oh, wait...

Eh, when you lower the bar with morons like Bush it's easy for Clinton to look good. Hell Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford even come across favorably when compared to the Dub.

He's trying to walk in Jimmy Carter's footsteps.

Mediocre president, but doing amazing things out of office.

Though Carter just thought about getting BJ's from his interns... ;)

The people who keep on bringing up his adultery are late night talk show hosts. Clinton has been stereotyped as a horny, adulterous man by everybody and always will be, even if he has truly changed his lifestyle.

You say that like it's a terrible thing....Better a horny adulterous man, than a corporate whore...

No, I'm not saying its better or worse than how people perceive Bush. It's just the truth. In fact, whenever Leno or Letterman bring up Clinton and his alleged horniness, I simply cringe because Clinton jokes are EXTREMELY old.

How exactly do you know that he "changed his lifestyle". I mean he's still married to a woman he never sees. The marrage is just an image piece to further their careers. Do you know what he's really doing on his own personal time.

I don't like or dislike the guy, honestly I don't care. But let's not kid ourselves.

I don't know if he's changed or not. I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he doesn't "sin" (his words) anymore. But if he still sins, then heck, he still sins, but everybody talks about him as if he were the same person as he was in his White House days. He's not.

No, I don't know what he does on his own time, and I don't care...none of my business, but then again, neither was the Monica affair...THAT was between Bill and his wife...NONE of our business...

No, no. Being a sneaky, cheating, lying, unfaithful bastard is pretty much the American peoples' business if you are the President. It demonstrates character, which is an important aspect of any elected official.

Just because you chose to turn off your TV and stick you fingers in your ears doesn't mean that no one else should have cared, either.

Bill Clinton is the man

but that interview really annoyed me... right before Clinton came on, they had a bit about the problems with the don't ask, don't tell policy (and how the military would rather have the borderline retarded in their ranks than gay arabic translators). and yet, Clinton comes on, and Jon Stewart doesn't ask him about the policy at all, despite the fact that he was the one who started it.

Jon Stewart is such a pussy sometimes.

Then I'm sure you have some HORRIBLE things to say about our current Commander-in-Chimp...He's pretty much all of those and worse...unless you're a Bushite, then of course, he's the next best thing to Gawd...
