Here's a list of senators and whether they support Leahy's efforts. PIPA is the Senate version of the infamous SOPA. These are written in such a way to effectively censor the internet.

I find it quite disturbing that Reid is persistent in putting this P.O.S. legislation up for vote Tues.

My Senators in NY are for it. I couldn't get through by phone and my email was a standard "due to high volume we can't reply" BS. I doubt they'll change their minds.

I don't think letters saying you don't support it and don't think they should either will help. Letters should read, "How much in donations will it take for you to oppose PIPA?"

My two senators are listed "on the fence," but I emailed both yesterday and advised them to vote against it.

Can we post their ages next to their names? I've said many times that I don't think 60+ year old career politicians have any place voting on things that regulate technology.

Age discrimination? Wow you are a bigot. I know some 60+ year old people that have vastly more knowledge of electronics, computers, software, and the internet than you'll ever likely have.

One supports PIPA (Kohl, D) and the other is on the fence (Johnson, R).

Kohl isn't running for reelection, but if Johnson supports this or ends up voting for it he definitely will not get my vote again.

OP, I think your first post would be more useful if you put the (R) or (D) next to their names.

Boxer and Feinstein do, they're terrible anyways. To bad morons in this State see a D and flock to them.

I'm not surprised at all that my Senators are involved in supporting this bs. There is so much RIAA involvement in Nashville (for obvious reasons).
