Classy clothes for men

I'm a little tired of my wardrobe and feel it is time I create more of grown-up style. Where can I find classy clothes? I am thinking the Buckle is good, and maybe Abercrombie. I used to frequent Aero, American Eagle, or PacSun, but can't remember anytime they had "classy" clothes. I kind of feel that their clothes are more geared towards 13-20 year olds? I'm 22.

Any advice is appreciated... thanks!

BAPE is probably the classiest you can get. I suggest you fill your entire wardrobe with BAPE apparel.

How old are you?

Those stores you list are essentially the same as the ones you have been frequenting.

Go to deparment stores, like Macy's, Dillards, etc. For higher dollar stuff, Nordstroms. Buy some nice Polo's and pants with no pleats. Buy jeans without bleached-out spots are tears/frays. Get some nicer shoes, DSW and other shoe warehouses are good.

22... I always felt that Buckle and Abercrombie were a little more classier than Aero, AE, and so on... I haven't been clothes shopping in a pretty long time so I think I'll have to go back and check them out again and compare.

I guess, are there certain brands I should be looking out for in particular? Or should I just go in and get what looks good?

Abercrombie is a more expensive version of Hollister, Aeropostale, etc... Some of the stuff they have is nice, but overall the store isn't geared towards the adult crowd. I second the department stores. I find that Macy's has a lot of good brands around here.

Don't worry about the brands, buy what looks nice. That's what is good about department stores; lots of different brands and lots of different looks.

Abercrombie, et. al are college type stores because during college you can wear casual stuff daily and not worry about it. The only reason "some" people associate Polo with Frats is because Frats are typically expensive, and Polo's are a bit more expensive. Regardless, they are quality products that look nice with everything from shorts to jeans to pants.

No large logos. Shirts with large, embriodered patterns are only worn by people from Mexico.

Just so you know $$$$ =/= grown up. You can find classy clothes for $$. Seems like all people in this thread are suggesting is you should go out and buy clothes from the most expensive stores and you'll look like a grown up wearing them. Man you people are so god damn materialistic w/ zero sense of fashion. No surprise there, seeing people equate their degree of love by the size of diamond they give to their SO. Materialism = divorce and depression.

Correct... I am not interested in emptying my bank account on these goods. The first few places I am going to check are the department stores (Dillards, Yonkers, etc) and see what I can get. Express for Men is also having a sale where everything (I think) is 50% off!
