Saw this on CNN earlier. Such a shame, his photo really leads me to believe that he was somehow contributing to the human race on a deep, deep level.

He will be missed....by someone.

He actually may get off from a Darwin Award on a technicality?

Woodward had recently moved to Orange from St. Louis with his twin brother to work at a shipyard, said Wright, who was friends with him.

If he has a twin brother they should be genetically equal; and thus, his DNA is theoretically still in the gene pool.

There's still hope his twin brother might challenge the gator to avenge his brother's death.

Can't remember the last time there were two impressively creative Darwin award winners so close together (alligator guy and fireworks-on-head guy).

He was the first person killed by an alligator in Texas since 1836, when a man was attacked while swimming across a bayou.
This fact will look good on his Darwin award application.

Tommie Woodward, 28, was killed by an alligator after jumping in a bayou behind Burkart's Marina in Orange, Texas.

The alligator was asked if he wanted to provide a statement about the incident; "You are welcome."

"He said, 'blank the alligators' and jumped into the water and almost immediately yelled for help,"
lol

Well, he has that going for him.
