You know, I have a new found respect for alligators. Any creature willing to take a bite out of that is braver than most.

I'd pity the man if before jumping in, he nodded to his friends:

"fun fact, guys, the last time someone was eaten by a gator in texas, Andrew Jackson was commander in chief! I got this!"

That would've been a calculated decision on his part. Risky, but calculated.

But he was an ignorant schmuck, and tried to aggrandize himself by defying nature.

I guess they found bits of poor, dumb Tommie in the gator too. You don't fuck with 4ft gator, let alone a 11-12ft hungry gator. Life's hard, it's harder if you're stupid.

Gators pretty common down here.

You don't jump in with them like an idiot.

I'm more worried about when all the 20 foot long snakes that eat gators start coming out of the Everglades...
