I have it. It's my first MMORPG and I like it alot. The thing is, it's such a time suck that I'm thinking of getting rid of it. Do any of you guys know if the license allows for resale? Will somebody else be able to use my cd key if i unregister and sell it?

PvP = Player vs. Player (ie, players can kill each other)

P2P = Player to Player?....I assume it means the same thing as PvP.

I have to say that this is the FIRST MMORPG to even remotely grab my attention.
I just can not justify pay to play though when I have a sack of PC games that I have never installed or finished for that matter.

I really wish these MMORPGs would have some type of "demo server" where you could start up a character and maybe take them up 1 or 2 levels but thats it. Once at level X your player was deleted.

It seems that this would be a viable model to suck more people in. Give em a hit of the crack pipe and let your product (not just your marketing) convince them to buy the game and pay to play it....

Yeah, but you have to buy the game, so you're out $40 if you don't like it.

I think all MMO Games should be a monthly fee, but free software. I don't think I would mind paying $15 a month, but the $40-50 initial fee is what really sucks.

Exactly... gimme a small downloadable demo.. even its its stand alone with a few "dummy" characters to interact with. If I like it then Ill buy the game and even pay for the first month.

If I buy a retail single player game and dont like it, at least I am able to play it if want to. If I buy a MMORPG, get the first month free, Im still stuck with a damn MMOPRG that I cant play solo and I am not going to pay for ...

DEMO PLEASE... I dont know how the gaming industry fell away from this concept. Its horrible. I cant even RENT and play the game before I buy. Im not going to take a gamble on marketing making a game look good.

I agree- $40 investment for a trial is too expensive.

I'd rather use the $15/mo to pay for cable TV anyways.

Well Circuit City had it on sell and I decided to try it. ($40 :|)
I must say that COH is a very fun game. It has been taking up all my free time though. It is definitely the best MMORPG that I have played, but I've only played a handful.

according to a bunch of people here at work (evercrack and galaxies addicts), the game is really good.

I'm in the "i refuse to pay monthly charges for a PC game" camp, but they all seem to like it.
