I don't know how long this had been going on, looks cool. Too bad it got shutdown, the trailer looked pretty impressive. Text 🙁
 
Copyrights and trademarks apply and are usually enforced, even if your remake is going to be given away, because your remake damages the value of the brand, characters, intellectual property.

Anyone who decides to remake or mod using an existing property without getting a written OK from the legal department of the company that owns it, has not been paying attention to all the mods, skins, and remakes that have been shut down over the last decade.
 
After seeing that trailer, I have one thing to say.

Square shouldn't be shutting it down - they should be hiring this guy and saying "Okay, finish it up and let us sell it."

Holy SHIT, that was an impressive trailer for freelance work. Somebody hire these guys RIGHT NOW, and put out a good 3D RPG.

If they made it, I bet they would've sold at least a million.
 
Well, at least it seems like they've already got an engine, so hopefully they'll still put out something great. Maybe they should just take it underground then release it to P2P when it's finished.

Awwww man that looks soo good. Those guys are good. I hope they find a way to someday release this game, or at least give Sqaure Enix some ideas.
 
just watched the trailer.. simply amazing. it's everything I remember from playing on my super NES but so much more beautiful
