Just my 2 cents, but avoid Tribes: Vengeance, the game sucks. Joint Ops has multiplayer with up to 150 players, which is cool. Don't know about Men of Valor though. I bet I'd pick Joint Ops myself. Of course, I tried the CoR demo and didn't really like it much so I probably wouldn't do this anyway.

Just my 2 cents, but avoid Tribes: Vengeance, the game sucks. Joint Ops has multiplayer with up to 150 players, which is cool. Don't know about Men of Valor though. I bet I'd pick Joint Ops myself. Of course, I tried the CoR demo and didn't really like it much so I probably wouldn't do this anyway.

i haven't tried the CoR demo but the game itself is amazing. they do the FPS "differently" so as to make it refreshing . . . my only flaw is that it is too short (but not for $10).

Eh, I have more enjoyment in a game like Farcry that is outdoors sneaky.

a matter of 'taste'. . . . CoR was indoors sneaky

However, i found the FC story and plot - stupid with HUGE inconsistancies; the voice acting and cutscenes in FC - 'amateur', to the point of distracting - so unlike CoR which was "polished". . . . plus, FC was buggy - for a long time after launch, and doesn't even have 'anytime' save. Plus FC has no 'easy' level.

even with all its faults, i really like FC because of the gameplay

but it is not a 'great' game.

Who needs an easy level? I set the AI to dynamically adjust, you always get a challenge then. Although so far there hasn't been much of any challenge yet. They seem to spot me before I spot them sometimes and aim pretty well too, but I rebound fast.

wait until you are 99% done with a [later] level that you have played thru 5 times and when you finally get to the checkpoint and it glitches, dumping you back to desktop.

and then you get to the stupidest plot twists that you can imagine with the most idiotic cutscenes and amateurish voice "acting" . . . THEN tell me about FC being a "great game"

if it wasn't for the [outstanding] gameplay and excellent gfx, FC would suck donkey balls.
