We get a gift catalog to choose from... the gifts are about $40-50 each.

We also get a profit sharing bonus into our 401k of ~5% of our salary.

No bonus that we can actually use, now, though :(

i got a visa gift card this year. while it's a decent amount of money, it's still not cash... and some people got the same amount of me, beacuse it was based on how long you've worked here for this year only, and i don't think some people deserved that much.

i'll say it again, its amazing how everyone on atot knows everything about everyone (even the smallest financial details) at any location. just imagine if we could harness this power for good instead of arguing who makes the best jeans or making yagts

So please tell me again how you can't live on your own with 33k a year?

are you too dumb to read or what?

ok, so you either have about $40 left over each month or you live beyond your means and pay more out than you take in.

Mine isn't so much as a Christmas bonus, as it is a sales bonus. Should end up being 2.2k+, very nice.

Since our fiscal year ends in December, they actually wait the 75 days and then pay out our company bonus. It's anywhere from 3-10% of our salary and more depending on your level within the company. I have a family member that's get an annual bonus of around $60k a year.

I work in a department with almost 200 lawyers. Our 'section' of about 20 got a mini bag of microwave popcorn and a $5 Blockbuster card each.

Not really a "Christmas bonus" per se. I get a yearly bonus as well as raise at the end of January. Since I'm in an operations department, the bonuses are relatively small (~10% of my salary). Sales departments can get huge bonuses (~30% to 300% of salary, even more for the big wigs of the firm).

I wasn't expecting anything this year. My boss actually gave us $50 gift card to Outback Steakhouse after lunch. Good thing I only had a salad. Ribeye for dinner FTW. :)
