My shareholders bonus is declared at year end, but is not generally distributed until May or June of the following year.

and to top it off, our cell phones are now being paid for by the company.

I love my job.

last year i got a $2000 bonus and a $3000/yr raise. i wonder what kind of raise i'll get this year. another $3k would be nice but I have a feeling it will be lower, possibly significantly lower.

I can't believe you make that much cash, but whine about having no money and live at home with mommy and daddy.

make that much cash???

i got a $2000 bonus 1 year which went to pay off credit card debt. i make $33k a year. about $1800 a month, 900+ of which goes to bills. so less than $900 a month to pay for an apartment, untilities, food, gas, etc. so you basically want me to live paycheck to paycheck and not have anything to save?

We did really good this year. I got $150,000 for the sales I've made and an additional raise of $20,000/yr.

shens 🙂

I get an annual bonus, but I don't get it until February. My bonus is based on my company's sales/profits for the last year, so they can't give it to us before Christmas.

I got a $7K bonus in October and just found out I'm getting another $3K for Christmas. In all fairness, these were pre-negotiated bonuses based on performance - I may get additional profit-sharing money in my 401K. I'm getting a $12K raise next year, which is nice, but I think I may still be below-market - I dunno.

No Christmas bonus, but every March we get a nice chunk of cash based on how the company did the previous year...

Usually equals 7-9% of your pay... so, I'd rather have that... 😀
