Oh and the dough has to be home made. Store bought is just not the same.
 
Why ruin good cookie dough with those damn chocolate chips? Chocolate chip cookies without chocolate chips are so much better.

I think the proper division is: 33% of dough eaten raw, 66% made into cookies.



Edit: Mint chocolate chip ice cream is much better without chocolate chips as well. Why do they ruin delicious minty ice cream with yucky bits of chocolate?

If you make your chocolate chip cookies with butter, they taste better baked. If you use margarine or veg shortening then they taste better as dough.
 

shouldn't that be salmonella? 😛 unless you poop where you eat 😀
and the chance of getting a salmonella infection from cookie dough is rather low nowadays (almost insignificant really, unless you literally buy tons of raw egg product and shovel it down your throat in order to try and get salmonella poisoning)

I like to under cook mine. Basically just warm gooey dough with some crisp on the outside, that you pull out of the oven and desperately try to shovel into your mouth without burning your face off.

Funny you should say that, but I made this with half a bag of chocolate chips instead of the called for full bag.

I actually eat dough in the form of a sandwich.


Its also used in a reduction over some vegetables or couscous.
 
I like cookie dough. Chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin.

For chocolate chips, try Guittard, my favorite. Safety? Not so far a problem.

But I've noticed warnings now on most of the cookie dough packages.

So I'm a bit wary.
