He did exactly what a guy should do when balls come at his face. She did what a girl should do when balls come at her face.

Give the guy a break. He did what any normal person would do with a foul ball careening towards him. If she had been paying attention to the game she would have seen the ball too. It seems like everyone in that corner of the bleachers was aware the ball was coming except her.

That was a pretty low and fast line drive. I've caught fly pops a bunch barehanded, but a low liner like that would make me nervous.

Dude has sense of Self Preservation, chick does not. Fortunately Darwin was merciful.

Guy looks like a jock, he'll probably move on to another piece of @ss next week, no point risking physical injury for that particular one.

He was shielding her before moving out of the way. This type of scenario often limits self preservation or instinct to dodge. For instance, if someone throws a knife at me, you are behind me, and I duck at the last second - the knife will hit you regardless of how much you want to live. It will only not hit you if you are fully aware the knife is coming at you before hand which often requires some thought and in many cases the event occurs too fast for such a reflex.

This is why him dodging becomes such a frowned upon event. Nothing to be said about how fucking stupid he acts about it after the fact, he is barely apologetic.

She is cute. I am surprised that was not my buddy Matt, he goes to Astros games and is a huge hater.
