I went to Chipotle this weekend and was greeted with a sign saying they removed the bacon from the pinto beans. :(

I eat my sons beans from his kids meal since he doesn't like them so I was able to get a taste of just the beans without the rest of the burrito coloring the flavor. I will need a second taste to be sure, but they seemed to replace the bacon with even more salt. heh, hard to tell though, they did seem a little off to me.

oh well, at least they still taste better than those flavorless black beans.

I don't trust people who don't eat bacon.

Bacon is its own food group.

Well that sucks.

My bowl of choice is white rice, pinto beans, chicken, medium salsa, corn, and cheese.

And no matter what it'll still taste like bland and overpriced food.

This must be a regional thing. My local Chipotle is anything but bland. Freebirds and Qdoba are both very bland to me.

And $6.50 for a filling meal is not overpriced, unless you like dollar menu food.

Beans are disgusting, Chipotle sucks, since Chipotle isn't real Mexican food is it safe for me to assume the beans served there are whole and not re-fried? Whole beans in Mexican food's absolute bullshit. I go to Chipotle like once every 3 years when I'm hungry and it's the only thing around where I'm at. And without fail it's always the same thing, a place packed with absolutely clueless Caucasian people who think it's some of the greatest food on the planet.

Isn't Chipotle the place that no longer cooks their beans in Lard because Vegetarians were having a hissy fit? Jesus that place needs to be shut down.
