i dont think thats expensive... i know thats expensive! and they want an extra .50 for guacomole??!!? after taxes its ringing up in the $7 range. for a burrito!! nevermind if you want chips or a drink. for $7 at a regular mexican joint that will get you more stuffed than a tijuana hooker.

Chipotle... Anyone eat here? I've been there once and for fast food, it was really good.

I knew about this IPO and wanted to get in, but totally forgot about it and am currently kicking myself!

You can't get shares at the IPO price, unless you are part of the IPO or employee, etc...

It's not like you could have bought at $20 and sold at $45 today.

Yes especially when I can get a complete burrito meal at the local non chain Mexican restaurant for $8-$9. Fast food burritos should not cost $6.00 for a single burrito and no matter how they fancy it up Chipolte and Baja Fresh are fast food.

Chipotle is expensive, but their food is pretty good... semi-healthy compared to other fast-food restaurants, we go there at least once a week for lunch

Chipotle is dope. They are moving towards using all high end (organic) meats, veggies, grains. They've already started in some areas. They are owned by McDonald's but have the freedom to run it the way the want to. The only con is having such a fru fru Mexican joint, raises price. Personally, I think of Mexican food as being cheap so paying $7-10 for a burrito (organic or not) is kind of weird.

I think chipotle sucks, I'm not a fan. For chain burrito places I prefer Baja Fresh.

Oh, and I know Freebirds!!! I had a few friends that went to UCSB, and when I would go visit them, we always ended up at Freebirds. Great place. I love that BBQ sauce they have.

Yes that's expensive! A fast-food on-campus restaurant shouldn't cost me $8+ for a full meal, and more if I actually wanted a good amount of food to eat.

funk chipotle. $7-8 for a burrito?! pfft to that.

granted if it was in an area where mexican fast food joints werent readily available on every corner, then yeah id see a market for it. but where im at, everytime i go by there its usually dead empty and i swear i could see tumbleweed's blowing around in there.

$5.50 for a meal and a half is not expensive for restaurant dining.

Or else you are just cheap.

Have you people saying that the burritos are expensive ever actually had a burrito from Chipotle?
Seven dollars buys you a freaking enormous gut bomb. You could easily split it in half and eat it for dinner two nights running.
Maybe you guys are getting the shaft at whatever local Chipotle you go to but the ones that I live near sell burritos that weigh at least a pound and probably closer to two.

freebirds the ORIGINAL in college station....best EVER..... 😉

And McDonalds tried to buy Freebirds once... but they instead created Chipotle.

Freebirds = bigger burritos, more options in selection, more burrito for your money, oh did I mention bigger burritos?

Yes I had both. The Chipotle in College Station is barren compared to Freebirds.

Man you guys need to lay off the drugs... $10 for a burrito?? Where? What chipotle? My wife and I go there all the time and pay $11 or so for 2 burritos not $10 each.... I guess if you had them include extra of the most expensive meat and triple helpigns of quac plus 2 beers it might be $10...

chicken > all there
