Keep in mind, America is a very young country, but we have fought more wars and won than any other country in the past 300 years. We defeated Great Britain twice. We defeated the Soviet Union and Japan. We also played a huge role in liberating Europe from Nazi Germany. WW1 was a victory. I consider the Civil War a American victory as it kept America together and the rebel forces were defeated. Vietnam was a failure, more of a political failure rather than a military failure. In fact, we could have kept bombing, shelling and destroying Vietnam infinitely if we wanted to. We defeated Iraq twice.
Name me some French victories please. In the past 300 years, if you want to compare them to America.
What does that mean? America literally won WW2 while the French surrendered right away when Germany invaded them, like they have surrendered many times in their past.
The reason why France is so anti-US is because they envy our success, our power and the fact that their military is nowhere near as good as ours. Can you imagine any other country spending $1 billion per week on occupation? Plus we have airbases and troops deployed in all regions of the globe.
From Japan to Afghanistan, from Turkey to Uzbekistan, from Kyrgyzhstan to Germany. We have a small elite specialist team in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia now. So in other words we have Russia surrounded from all sides
