As much as I hate the US and western foreign policy I fear for Muslims if China ever does become a superpower. And to think of all this and my muslim country sucks more Chinese balls than American ones. I'd live in a western country any day before I even think of going to China. Hell; I'd have a more peaceful life in Iraq or Afghanistan than China.

You've hit the nail on the head.

It's in the best interests of the Chinese to keep the conflict between India and Pakistan going for as long as possible.

We need to sort out all outstanding disputes and establish trade and mutual development in order to counterbalance the growing Chinese influence in the area.

I'm not saying India treats it's Muslims great, but hopefully festering wounds like the whole partition bit and the Kashmir dispute will be gone. That might change things in the years to come.

As for the rest of this thread, shame on the posters cheering the demolition of a religious building, and torture of its adherents, for no other reason than not supporting the Olympics. The founding fathers must be turning in their graves. What if this had been a Christian church?

Then here's an idea: concentrate on fixing your own country and making sure that it stops harboring terrorists who go to other countries, slaughter innocent people over medieval fairy tales, and then run back to hide in yours. You don't have to be a rogue nuclear scientist with a pocket full of secrets to sell on the black market to understand that such actions bring the very Western nations you hate into yours looking for the people who started the fight. Here in the West, if you willingly shelter a violent criminal in your house, then you can't act all surprised and innocent when the cops come knocking.

So keep your lunatics at home where they belong, and the Evil West will leave your country alone to fight more ridiculous wars over whos imaginary friend is the strongest.
