"Each of the glass panes is 24 millimeters thick and 25 times stronger than normal glass. "
24mm = 2.4cm = 1"

unlike the glass observation post at the Grand Canyon, this bridge doesn't seem to be monitored.

there will be some crazy that will take a hammer or pick ax to it.
and I'm guessing it wont be long b4 someone scratches/carves graffiti on the glass. 🙁

It's in China, not the United States. I'd bet the punishment for defacing or damaging something like this would be draconian to say the least.

I would never walk over something like that. Especially if its in China.

I've seen too many videos of people dying in Chinese elevators to know that their safety laws are very lax.

a lot of action cameras don't have a display. you need to add one on like the bacpac for gopro or you can interface with a mobile device.

Coming soon to liveleak, dumbass fall through glass bridge while etching his name on glass.

Hopefully they installed a sacrificial layer of safety glass over the actual structural glass like the Sears Tower sky-deck
(I know it's now supposed to be the Willis Tower)

You search for that stuff? How do you see too many videos of that??

I don't know if I'd want to trust Chinese craftsmanship for something made out of glass that is suppose to stop me from falling to my death. That said if something like that was in Canada or the US, I'd totally go on it, looks awesome!

Actually I still need to do that thing at the CN tower where you hang on the edge by a cable, one of these days.

Except we buy tempered glass from China now...

The glass floor at the CN tower and the rides on top of the Stratosphere in Vegas feels like...death. People shouldnt be doing that. Imagine if the glass broke and you died, and you try explaining that in the after life.

Fellow Dead person: How did you die?
You: I was walking on this glass bridge over a canyon in China and it broke.
Fellow Dead person: Why would you do that?
You: ...
