Chiggers suck

I woke up in the middle of the night scratching my legs woke up and I have chiggers all over my legs. I was in tall weeds all last week and they are just now appearing. The worst thing is, as the day goes on there's more that appears.

Does anyone have any home remedies that works?

Cleanse yourself with fire.
 
When I was a kid and spent the played in long grass, our home remedy was to wipe our legs down with a couple of cottons balls soaked in rubbing alcohol. Supposedly it killed the little buggers. This seemed to work ok, but if you wait too long, I'm not sure how effective it would be.

That's the most people I've ever seen at one time that didn't know what chiggers are.

annny way, go buy some chigger-x (pretty much everyplace in Texas sales the stuff, don't know about your area) best stuff you can buy to kill the little buggers.

Where I'm from they're pretty common so I was suprised with people not knowing too. Thanks for the suggestion I'll check out the store tomorrow.

LOL, that's what I thought. never heard of a chigger. Interesting, you learn something every day.
 
omg hahaha. ive never seen chiggers, but my parents used to live in columbia, missouri where its like TOTAL country side. they said in the summertime "chiggers" would bite tender areas of the body, like the waist. i was like "chigger"? wtf is that? they laughed cuz city kids would never know.
