I don't beleive we have those up here in Northern New England...thank god. The fact that you can't see them sucks...

Nail Polish remover is usually just acetone based, it wouldn't seal anything I don't think...

Yep, this works. Of course, try to go for the clear nail polish.

I've had chiggers a few times, and this always does away with them quickly.
 
Walgreens sells a product called "Chiggerid", and only walgreens. Runs about 4-5 dollars for a tiny bottle. Works wonders.
 
i got these once as a kid, all over my crotch....spent an hour and a half with rubbing alcohol and tweezers picking them off =(

And by far the worst place to get them is on your scrotum🙁

In the South you can get this for the itchiness as well.
 
Chiggars run rampant in the redneck belt. They aren't alone though, if they don't get you the ticks might, including deer ticks with lyme disease.
