I prefer my cookies chewy. A nice Peanut Butter cookie..chewy..but also chunky would do it for me. And also, what's your favorite cookie?

cheers,
KiM

Edit: now with poll =)

Well when I think of chunky, I usually think of chunks of something--not to sound like a smart @$$...i.e. pieces of fruit, chocolate, nuts, etc. So something chunky can be either crisp or chewy.

Nothing compares to the light crispiness on the outside and warm softness inside a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie about 5 minutes after taking it out of the oven.

But if I had to choose one over the other, like Chips Ahoy vs. Soft Chips Ahoy, I'd go with the soft and chewy.

I like chewy oatmeal cookies or soft bendy peanut butter cookies..
I was hooked on Subway cookies for a while... lol.
Now i'm hooked on those nutri grain real fruit berry cookie thingies .. expensive tho !
