If I had to choose, I'd say chewy. However, my favorite style is slightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
 
Wow, can't believe I'm one of only 4 crispiness preferrers 😛 To be fair though I like chewy almost as much.
 
if the dough isn't still cold it is too cooked for me, just crack the pack and eat with a spoon mmmmm, although publix peanut butter cookies are good, and my grandmothers oatmeal raison are omfgwtfbbqcookie>allotherthings you serioulsy cannot beat them, that woman can cook, no doubt about it.
