It sounds like you're more of a sheet metal enthusiast 😉
Perhaps in your definition. One of the definitions of enthusiast on dictionary.com is a person who has a strong liking for something. I like reading about cars and I like looking at them. I'm an enthusiast. Doesn't mean I have to want to buy whatever is most fun to drive like most other car enthusiasts.

Can't wait? Check out the Kia Spectra
AHAHAHAHAA!!!
Yup .

Methinks you have no idea what you're talking about.
Actually the NEW Kia Spectra has received rave reviews. Car and Driver loved it, as well as Motor Trend. So actually that guy knows quite well what's he talking about. Do you?
Perhaps you should focus for a second.

I'm the one telling the OP to consider a Kia. Xionide's the one laughing at the suggestion.
holy cow. talk about archcommus getting owned :Q

I would stay away from the Cobalt as no one has done a long term review on the vehicle. GM vehicles are notorious for having many problems in the initial year of production.
Very good point there...that, and you get as won't get all the rebates and special financing you would in following years because it's the shiny, new car that no one's seen before and everybody wants one...

Top...So what did you end up buying?
Just noticed this.

With the bad weather I haven't had the chance to test drive a Cobalt Coupe yet.

I have pretty much narrowed it down to the Elantra 5-Door and the CC.

It still looks to much like a Cavalier.
?What has Cobalt in common with Cavalier? Other than its Ecotec engine, transmission and basic suspension layout ? essentially nothing. The suspension geometry is all different,?
I dunno, looks pretty good to me.
