Yes, for now. I said Cobalts WILL become the same, especially once they stop selling Cavaliers.

I really don't care how "unique" it is, I just want something reliable.

That's why Hyundai is high on my list. Subaru would be the best, it's just that even the used ones are expensive.

The car looks pretty good... I hate the commercial for them, though.. The song they have in it is a crappy american re-make of a good japanese song - sounds like the car, eh?

btw, the original song is Woo Hoo - 5. 6. 7. 8's

Probably the dumbest fvcking reasoning I've ever heard.

You should drive a Yugo. There are hardly any of those on road. Even Rolls Royces are too common in certain social circles. But a Yugo. No one has those. A perfect car for you.

Eh I'm sure you've heard much dumber.

Most car enthusiasts do not want a car that everyone in their area has.

I'd like to see someone try and bad mouth the reliability of the Ecotec.

Oh god I hate that commercial and its ripoff of a very good song.

Really has no bearing on the car though...

Sentra is pretty expensive compared with Cobalt and Elantra. $17k MSRP by the time I add ABS/Side airbags. I find it reprehensible almost none of the car manufacturers offer side airbags standard. Nissan won't even sell the base Sentra w/side airbags, you have to go up a model.

According to Carsdirect.com, you can get a Sentra SE-R Spec V w/the "Anti-Lock Brakes & Side Air Bags Package" added for about $16k due to special pricing and a customer rebate--both of which expire at the end of the month

Crossing a car off the list because it is common is shortsighted IMO. All else equal, any car that is common, means parts and service will be cheap. Know how will be easy to find and get.

To each is own, I suppose. There is more than one kind of car enthusiast. Personally, I am more into the looks of my car than its engine or "fun factor." So when I see too many of a particular model, it eventually becomes bland-looking.

Are you kidding? Korean cars have the worst depreciation of all cars.
