Actually, sad though it may be, I bet the country would huddle even closer under the Republican wing if we were attacked again. Suddenly all that mess about fearmongering, torturing people, illegal wiretaps, and declaring war everywhere will start to look like an attempt to fix the problem, whereas the Democrats will be "weak on terror". *shudder*

Whatever you want to tell yourself chief. She's not my ideal candidate, but I can't think of one that is as unelectable as Cheney. Dems won't switch sides just to avoid voting for a woman.
