Cheesy Double Beef Burrito from Taco Bell

QueBert

Lifer
I really wish Taco Bell would quit fucking with me and switching the price. Not that a dime matters, but the last 4 I got them it went 89 - 99 - 89 - 99. This was a few months apart. They need to decide on a price and stick with it.

Dude, you're crying over a dime. I could see merit for a complaint it if the price increase was something like $0.99 to $1.09, thus requiring more than just a dollar bill if you're paying with cash, but you're complaining about $0.89 to $0.99...seriously...

I remember back when they had the 59, 69, 79 cent menu back in the day. I remember when ordering a soft taco supreme, hold the tomatoes saved you 3 cents over a soft taco, add sour cream. Them were the days.

Going from $0.89 to $0.99 does require more than a dollar after you add tax (unless you live somewhere with sales tax greater than 13%). So his complaint does have merit...

Taco Bell is absolute shit, bottom of the food chain, how can you feed urself such shit OP?

Find any taco shop around and it should be tons better than Taco Bell. I only ate there twice in my life and will never go back, FAIL.

Well most places have sales tax on food so you're in the minority.

I eat authentic Mexican food all the time, while I do like it Taco Bell has some good stuff too. I can only eat so many Tacos El Carbon before I want some Americanized bastard-up Mexican food 🙂

And I'm not complaining about the dime, it's the fact I gotta fumble around in my car to get the right change. I had counted out the exact amount I needed before I left tonight and when I got there it ended up being 30 cents more. I don't care if they charge 2 dollars for the fuckers, just pick a price and stick with it.

Whatever. Mexican food on the base stuff like tacos is so simple I don't care.

Here is a situation.

Taco Bell 4 tacos for like 2 bucks, more or less (haven't been in a while)
Miguel's - Some dish that involved 2 tacos for 8.99 + Tip.

Ever heard that joke about the guy asking what is in everything at the Mexican restaurant and the waiter just says "Look, say something funny sounded and I'll bring you beans, cheese, and meat in a tortilla shell."

It wasn't even worth 89 cents. There are other things on the menu I prefer over that, even the cheese roll ups are better.

I have had bad experiences the last 4 or 5 times I have gone to Taco Bell, sad too, used to be my favorite nasty fast food place

My sig speaks for all.

A person must have a weak stomach or there's something wrong with them if that's true. I've never gotten the runs from Taco Bell, ever. And there have been times in the past where I ate A LOT of food. Like when they use to have the Chili Cheese Burritos, 6 of em in one sitting. People who get the runs from Taco Bell should stick to veggies because it's obvious they can't handle meat lol. Not saying T.B. is high quality food, I know it's not. but it's never even given me any sort of bathroom problems in my 30 years of eating there.

Here in Ohio, there is no sales tax for food ordered to go, or at the drive-thru. Only when ordering to eat inside is tax added.

Ohio doesn't count.
