As a Philly resident, Pat's and Gino's both do not do the Philly Cheesesteak justice. Go down South St. and try Jim's and a bunch of others in that area. Great steaks.

ugh... i remember going to philly and getting a cheesesteak. The cheese whiz ruined it for me. I rather have a Great Steak cheesesteak at my local mall in California, tastes a whole lot better

Have you tried Big Mike's Cheesesteaks in El Segundo or Hermosa Beach?

I've never had a Philly original, but the ones at this place are GOOD!

No, i'll try to remember that next time I crave a cheesesteak

Ugh!!! Pat's is MUCH MUCH MUCH better!! I'd give you my name for Geno's, but its a play off of its name, and it refers to homosexuality, which is banable here....they make an ok steak, but the cheese fries are 100000x better at Pat's, and you GOTTA get both a steak and fries!

You have to get the hot hot peppers though.

Try Nick's roast beef too for a good sandwich. Well, it was good 20 years ago :p
