chicken cobb salad (lunch,$15.50)

this salad is HUGE!
i cant imagine what the dinner portion looks like.

i think it's the best bang for the buck meal in this place.
there are 6 toppings, all segregated.
tomatoes, egg, avocado, bacon, blue cheese crumble, and chicken on top.

it's like having 6 different salads in 1.
protip:
if you like peanuts, order the peanut cilantro salad dressing for any salad.
it's an in-house salad dressing and it's free to substitute for the normal salad dressing

Wow, I ate the Louisiana pasta.
Didn't know it was that bad health wise.

edit:
Chicken and Broccoli Pasta, 1,360 calories and 22 grams of saturated fat
*AND* 5,890 mg of sodium

salt lick anyone?

edit2:
Breakfast Burrito, 1,950 calories, a ton of sodium (3,640 mg), and a heap of saturated fat (59 grams).
it's like eating seven McDonald's Sausage McMuffins.

I don't find the article that enlightening. It just points out the whole meal has a bunch of calories...doesn't go into into why someone could down it all in one session, which is heavily caused by the pasta itself and what it does to the body. One being expanding the appetite upon contact in the mouth. The other is releasing insulin, which then causes a crash a couple hours later to make someone hungry again.

And perhaps the vegetable oil in the meal might not be fresh safe after exposure to heat.

California cobb salad $16.
Same portion size (and price) as the lunch cobb.

Instead of chicken and blue cheese crumble in the regular cobb, it has shrimp and string beans.
i subbed asparagus for the green beans.

The shrimp was cut into pieces.
couldnt taste it. :(

next time i'm going to ask for the shrimp be uncut.

A month later, it's now$17.
Seems like cheesecake factory is raising prices .50 or $1 every 2 months.

It's unsustainable.
I predict food quality to decline because once the small Cobb salad becomes $20, there will be alot less customers
