who cares what sports people did or liked in high school/college? does it really matter to anyone here?
Oh, poor waggy.

You forgot that during the summer this place is filled with teeny-boppers.
This isnt ancient history for them, its current events.

There are college students here year-around that support their teams and cheerleaders.

Edit: There are also people with low self-confidence and self-image here year-around.

i dunno, cheerleaders are kinda overrated to me... they were never the hottest girls at my school... the hottest girls were the swim team and the volleyball team (you should have seen the 'uniforms' they wore... skin tight short shorts? fapfapfapfap!)

And when i got to college, it seemed that to be a cheerleader, you had to be a 5'0" 100 pound munchkin so the male cheerleaders could throw you up in the air easily, totally unattractive to me.

100% the same for me. My HS cheerleaders were fairly hideous. Once I got to college, all the cheerleaders were 5'0" - 5'2" and 90-105lbs. Not really that cute either. Now volleyball girls .. mm.

IMO, Cheerleading is a healthy and fit activity.

Cheerleading is the most dangerous "sport" in America. Come again?

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03...rts/31cheerleader.html

"Emergency room visits for cheerleading injuries nationwide have more than doubled since the early 1990s, far outpacing the growth in the number of cheerleaders, and the rate of life-threatening injuries has startled researchers. Of 104 catastrophic injuries sustained by female high school and college athletes from 1982 to 2005 ? head and spinal trauma that occasionally led to death ? more than half resulted from cheerleading, according to the National Center for Catastrophic Sports Injury Research. All sports combined did not surpass cheerleading."

OMG a sport that you can get hurt in??? WOW you are so cool to hate on cheerleaders!!!

WOW... a whole less than 3 serious head and spinal injuries a year nationwide!!

in college one of the cheeer leaders was on my floor. she was 5'0-5'1 and couldnt be 100lbs but she was hot..and yes she we would talk all the time heh.

Also reminds me of asomething. My nephew was playing football for his high school team. i went to a game. the cheerleaders were in front of us. my god they were ugly. there was 6 of them and out of them 2 of them had to be 160-170. i just shook my head. i asked my brother in law about it. he said since its such a small school they take anyone that joins heh.

So which one of them turned you down?

No thanks. I would never do one of those skanks.

confirmed!

either OP is a bandcamp geek who got turned down and laughed at, or OP is a ugly chick who got laughed at when she showed up for tryouts.

Or, OP is in college, in summer school, and couldn't get any from a high-school junior.

what about me? i agree with the OP.

and i did not try out for cheerleading because it wasn't even a consideration. i had year round legitimate sports going on.

We need pics noa!

To... prove you aren't ugly...

my cousin was SI's cheerleader of the week one time last fall. her team also made it to a big cheer competition so she was on ESPN for a bit.
