Check this out: "The Truth about Trucks" Ford F-150 vs the competition

LOL @ Handling video...

Yeah, I'm sure it handles well . Aside from that, they don't compare it against GM's Quadrasteer.

Good marketing though, some of the videos were interesting.

You're right, they stopped making vehicles with them. But it is still an available option for 2005 Models...

Haha, usually he points out the fault of one particular car like the Tundra or Silverado per section, but never shows the Ford parts being superior to the rest as a whole.

Hehe, I liked the door hinge section with the Ram 😀

The truth? 95% of the guys who drive F-150s are pricks with small penises and feel that in purchasing this truck they also purchased the world.

I know one guy who owns an F-150 (he got it about 2 years before everyone decided F-150 was the truck they wanted) who is a nice guy and doesn't think he owns the world in the least bit.

heh I was thinking that too. The F150 is a nice truck, but this selective comparison is kind of obvious.

The oil filter argument is questionable.. Filter can size doesn't necessarily equated to efficiency.

I didn't car at all for the child reference (Your family rides on these frame rails)

It's all pretty useless observations - propaganda - they don't evaluate all items from all manufacturers in the comparos

There's more things that bug me..
Overall, I really do think Ford makes the best truck - just don't care for the ad campaign.

He almost completely avoided a comparison between the Dodge and the Ford, did anyone else notice that? I mean, he bitched about lift gate assist and the lack thereof on the Dodge? I don't know about you, but the liftgate assist sounds like a "soccer mom" addition to a pickup truck to me.

Nobody buys it though. They overpriced the hell out of it.

If I was looking at a new truck today though I woudl definatly look at the new f150.... but I still probably wouldnt get one. I never buy a car in the first year of a new design (although you could argue it came out in 04).

Ill keep with my 01 Silverado for now.

it came out in november 03... 05 is the second model year

No comparisons to the Honda Ridgeline... well, Ford's Explorer Sport Trac is more similar to the Ridgeline but still nowhere near as nice. Cheaper though.

Yah. He obviously only picked on things that make the ford look great (what a surprise).

Oh.. and you gotta love the steel bumper to slice through knees.
