Check out this pic of the new 2002 Honda Corvette (tm)

LMAO - thats fake as hell. Look at the awful pixelation on the trunk lines - the rest of the edges just don't look natural. I'll believe this when I see another pic of it.

i just dont see why they would put a fake pic with all those thumbnails of other cars.. and people looking in "stupid awe" of this hondavette, if it was fake why would they be staring at a regular old honda? and the shadow lines are too good to be fake, the shadow shows the big ass of the car with the fart pipes

Damn, now that I look at the main page, I notice the same artifacts and lack of reflection in some of the other cars. It can't be!

I know what you're saying - it does seem weird. But look at the trunk. On a regular Accord the trunk line comes straight down the top of the rear quarter panels. Why would they create a completely different trunk setup, hack up the sides of the trunk, and fit on something that'd likely be very flimsy, just to glue this rear end into place? Granted - this is possible, but I just don't see why anyone would go through such lengths just to mod their trunk just to get that rear bodywork in place. Do you have the emails to any of the people who took them pics? I'm just curious to know if they saw it in person. I really can't see why anyone would hack the trunk up for no reason

I think you are looking for a sensible explanation for what is obviously a ridiculous idea. The gullwing doors on the Integra sedan I linked are also pretty senseless, as is the bizarre Lincoln/Ford lowered pickup someone linked earlier. I think the distinctiveness of this is the whole point, and common sense and utility have no application here. I think this is almost certainly real, as strange as it seems.

Yes I agree with Don Vito. Like I said earlier, I have seen people do stranger things with cars. And crazy people with lots of money, who knows what they're capable of 😉

My point is - why rip apart something that has nothing to do with the rear end? It would take way too much work to taper the trunk - it's utterly pointless. The gull winged Integra is something different, but imagine spending like a grand on relocating the mirrors even if they're not in the way...

Damnit, I'm a big fan of Honda's but WTF is with these fvkcers... idiots like them give the entire segment a bad name...

what the hell is with that truck?

How would you transport it?

You certainly can't drive it.
It wouldn't do very good driving onto a car carrier since it couldn't go up a 3 degree incline...much less a ramp.
Crane it on?

I"ve seen lots of trucks like that.. when you turn them off (at least the ones I've seen), it gets lowered to the ground, with the frame actually resting on the ground. but you can "flip some switches" and it raises up to driveable height

Just click the "next image" buttom a few times till you get to the nice 67 Firebird. The wheels and tires need to be changed but it sure looks alot nicer than that bowl of rice with American cheese slapped on it!
