for that price it would have to include the motherboard for it to be worthwhile.

Exactly, what good does it do you? Other than omgzwowthatlookssocool, I think its pretty useless. Oh well, I'm sure there is a market for it.
Edit: Perhaps to see song tracks and what not, but you can do that without having that expensive LCD.
