I was napping as usual and I got a phonecall and woke up. My guy knows a guy who needed a loan today or tomorrow so he called me. Went over to his store and negotiated out some terms.

A few grand later, I walked out with a nice two tone Rolex GMT :D

This thing is nice!

Let's see a pic of the dial of the watch.

Could you take a pic straight on of the bezel? And possibly one that's not so dark?

If you take a look at his recent pic upload...and then you go to Rolex's Site and look up the Oyster Professional (Submariner Date), you'll see MANY differences between a REAL Rolex and PAB's cheap knock-off that he bought.

Again, I'd like to see a pic of the face of the watch and the back. Also, show one of of the clasp on the band.

Actually, I do have a screw down back. The rolex case opener isnt that special, they're pretty common in most jewlery catalogs. Stuller has them for sale.

The winder is smooth because this is a GMT. The rolex three dots, or triplock is only on certain models like the Submariner, Sea Dweller, etc.

"Let's see a pic of the dial of the watch."

The dial, face, bezel, band, crystal, second hand movement, etc., is meaningless. The good fakes are absolute perfect copies. The simple thing to do is open the watch and look for the Rolex impressions and stampings. Those are extremely hard, if not impossible to duplicate.

That's funny. It clearly states 'Oyster Perpetual Date' on the face, yet looks nothing like that model on the official site.

Uhmm... My thoughts exactly. Even the GMT...you're missing the stem with the "crown" at the very least...

since he started lieing his ass off.

between the 13 yr old kid buying his car. buying a "cobra" mustang etc he loast all credit with everyone.

every few months he has to h ave a thread reminding us that he is "rich". pfft.

Hey, that 13 year old was an ass. I had that car sold locally but I had to tell the guy that there was a sale pending on ebay. He cost me money!

How is it not hard to believe there are 13 year olds on ebay who have nothing better to do than interrupt peoples business?

And its not a "cobra" its a stock 2+2 car that's halfway towards being a half decent clone

So that would make it 75% ****** right now then......sound about right?

Just looking at the crown you can tell it's a fake. A crown on a real GMT looks like this: Text

Compare it to his. He owned hizzelf. :p

Yes, its incredibly easy to be stamping ROLEX on the inside on a genuine rolex movement. Its hard to copy this though:
