cheap breathalyzer test?

Any suggestions for a cheap <$50 breathalyzer test?

Already called the police and they said that they can't do the test. However, if I get in my car and drive around they will be more than happy to.

Tip: the cheap ones at Brookstone or The Sharper Image are not very accurate. You can buy refurbished models of the ones the pros use.

The cheap ones don't tell you your BAC they only tell you if you are over the limit. The reasoning is they don't want stupid people to trying and "beat" their friend's BAC.

The expensive ones will tell you but they are hard to find and some counties actually outlaw them.

plenty of ones on sale here that tell you your BAC for ~$100 AUD, usually come with a free six-monthly re-calibration too....

my professor invented the alcohol-sensing mechanism of the breathalizer... he's got millions. he dresses kinda like a random college professor, though... nothing snazzy... no nice shoes, walmart button-down shirt, etc.

he had a ferrari or something a decade or so ago, but he ended up failing a student, so the student took it out on his car... so, that's why he drives to school in a honda, now.

They tested it on MythBusters as well, and it didn't work.

I have tested it with both the OSHA tester (fuel cell) and the DOT (spectrum analyzer) tester myself (not read it on line or heard from a friend)

Both samples pennies and no pennies same reading.

They tested it on MythBusters as well, and it didn't work.

Yup. They tried several things to see if they could beat the breathalyzer and none of them worked. Either his friends are talking our their ass or the cop was in a very generous mood. I certainly wouldn't want to bet my life on it.
