I've taken to cryptic code + postit notes to remember my pw's

I have scripts for lots of sites that keep a history of past passwords to solve this problem for me. Password policies like that all have a limit, usually around 10 password changes where you can then reuse a previously used password. Therefore, I wrote a script that changes my password 50 times to random letters, numbers, and symbols. After that cycle, the script sets my password back to the one I had before. This process works everywhere I have bothered to write a script for.

Problem solved.

I have 2 technically. 1 for personal and 1 for business.
That being said I haven't forgotten either of those, so I havent had the need for 5.

That being said I haven't forgotten either of those, so I havent had the need for 5.

WaMu -> Chase = 2 new logins (banking, persona/business)
WaMu -> Chase = 1 new login (credit, business)

+ 1 previous chase login for my sony credit card, which used to be some other company (citi iirc)

So I guess I have 4 logins.

I have one chase login for my mortgage and credit card. I haven't changed my password in ten years.

At my last company I gave really good requirements. In my experience, the credit card companies are very relaxed in their requirements. This is what I'm most worried about:

So far we know that even with "only 5" he apparently uses for all his accounts, he forgets them all the time. But most importantly, we know if we ever got a hold of his password from a less secure source, we have a 1 in 5 chance of logging in to any number of other accounts he has. Revealing this information in popular forum is almost as bad as the postit note...
