The last 6 articles on that page are rehashes of his old bumpgate/nvidia bashing articles that he reposts exactly on the day of the launch. That is so ridiculous that it has to make you wonder wtf he is thinking. Keep in mind that I don't think he has posted anything about GF104 specifically where he had a new GF100 bashing article pretty much every week since evergreen launched.

I think it's the editor who smelled opportunity. That being said, it's obviously purposely timed with the GTX 460 release and shows that even Charlie cannot find something bad to say about that very good looking release.

I noticed this too and just thought "how sad, how very very sad".

Can't even come up with original content anymore so they are dredging up anti-NV articles from past years.

It really doesn't get any more pathetic than that.

I use to check out semi-accurate every now and then just because the outlandish commentary added commical value to my daily routine...but I actually deleted my S/A links after seeing the website has literally become an anti-NV mouth-piece.

Like Rollo for NV, I really think Charlie does more harm than good for NV's competition as the website just screams to me "I am a viral marketing website for ATI!".

At any rate, done wasting my time (even for the laughs) going there anymore.

Hahhahaha yeah, I like semi accurate it can be interesting, but Charlie has to be taken with a huge grain of salt in most cases.

He's like..."OH NOEZ NVIDIA IS COMPETITIVE AGAIN...MUST SMEARZ THEMZ!"

Like seriously, Nvidia comes out with what looks like a great product, quit friggin bitching, it's about time, prices will be good. Even if you hate Nvidia you should congratuate them, because this card will cause you to be able to buy a better ATI card. Like the people trash on AMD (or Intel)...shut the hell up, we need them both to succeed or prices are going to suck. With this card Nvidia has really done well imho.

I think a lot of people will be grabbing them to SLI. I bet the 5850 will drop below $250 in the next week or two as well. Good times. Finally.

With Charlie you have to read between the lines. He hasn't posted anything about the GTX460, which means that it is an amazing, god-worthy product.

That is a little frightening about GF100's underflow though if it is true.

My launch 8800gt is still running strong, it never gets above 45C though thanks to my accelero cooler. I wonder if there's a database of failed G92, G86 and G80 parts.

charlie is a fool. If he really wanted to bash nvidia then he would give moderate praise to the gtx 460 so that he could refer to it later and claim "see, I'm not biased at all!". also, if he was smart he would at least post a gtx 460 article to draw people to his website. I admit that it's frustrating watching both red and green camps pretend that their preference is the only way to go, but they could at least pretend to do so intelligently.

edit: I'm embarrassed that I clicked that link. Charlie's demagoguery is the most ringing endorsement yet of gtx 460 imho.

If he is right then some guys will be "baking" their GTXs in the future.

It also helps to explain why Fermi was so late.

Well, I don't know or read his stuff, but if people like you are clicking on it all the time whining about it, sounds like he could be seriously banking.

And no, you don't know what demagoguery is. This dude is neither politically inclined to lead people on, nor is there public hearsay about the big bad Nvidia.

He's just an Nvidia basher - please do not misuse big words like demagogue - they are reserved for more meaningful conversations.
