15 cents for answering questions? damn I need to look into this, sounds like a lazy mans dream, although I gotta assume they limit how many questions you get? if I could do 100 an hour I'd be more than happy to stop my real job.

There is no limit, but it does take a bit of time to do an answer because you have to use their procedures in order to create short-links for the citation to the answer you give. If you're very focused and incredibly fast/accurate you can manage about 50/hr. There is also a bonus program for perfect accuracy with a high number of responses. It's not hard to average $7-9/hr.

Shit, sometimes I can get one done every thirty seconds. Ive been "notified" of wrong answers before, but I would guess I am averaging around 10 / hr to do this job.

The most i have made in an hour is $25

this is pretty cool, and not to thread crap but subservient chicken owns this. He doesn't answer questions, but I had him doing the robot and the funky chicken dance.

subservient chicken is possibly the coolest web site ever, I can't believe it's still online! I wonder how much they pay the people to dress up in the chicken suit and follow orders? I use to have him doing pushups and jumping jacks and flapping his wings while running in circles.
Lol! No, they don't pay some fool to be in the room and ready to do funny actions. It's all pre-recorded, and different text commands are mapped to different actions!
LOL.

"smoke weed"

He walked up to the camera and shook his finger at me

LOL he actually smoked for me!! HAHA

I too am a guide. It's rather fun, though you can only answer so many questions about eating out someone's ass before it gets annoying.

hahah, this is so true.

Its a lot of little kids asking what "Sex" is and "Will i marry danny".

BUt i did get a gem yesterday. Someone asked what a saskatchewan snowstorm was. I LUL'd

Yeah, you get weird questions.

Another thing I should mention is that you need to use their toolbar which only works with Firefox for Windows. You need a high speed connection, also.

oh wow I feel dumb, I read this on Wikipedia yesterday DOH! I thought it had to be a live dude because when I told him to do the electric slide dance he did it. AMAZING programming on their part. It looses some of it's coolness knowing it's not live but it's still hella fun.

Lets all point our fingers at quebert and laugh.

I just got accepted to become a guide, I'll take the tests later tonight after work and see how it all goes! Thanks for the help, those who PM'd!

I don't know, I want to sign up, but I'm still leary to give them my social security number.

Chances are your identity is not worth as much as you think it is. 😛

It's no different than giving out your ssn to Best Buy or wherever if you worked there. There's a private forum for ChaCha guides and I've never seen anybody post there about having any problems related to that.

I've visited their offices for the past year or two now and met a lot of the people behind the service, it's something you can trust, there's too much riding on the success of the company for people to even consider messing around with SSN's.
