Catalyst 3.5 out

After looking at those benchmarks, I think I'm going to stick with the stable 3.4s for right now and see how it goes.

Just downloaded @ 575kb/s! I'm off to install these on my 9700...🙂

They loaded up fine...off to play some Enclave and see if there is any improvement. 🙂
 
Well it dosent seem to fix my problems with my 9800 and morrowind.

As soon as i leave the ship it crashs my computer and the screen goes black. Did some looking around and aparently the 3.1s worked fine and others have had the same problem. But the 9800 cant run the 3.1's. Does anyone have a way to fix this.

Sofar i am not impressed with ati so far that i have moved camps from nvidia.
 
Seemed to be a bit faster @ 1600 x 1200 in Enclave with my 9700. I wasn't aware MW had a problem with the 9800. I wonder if it will work with my 9700 and the 3.5's? I'll go install MW now and give it a shot. 🙂

Damn, I just spend 3 weeks doing HW qualify test for 3.4.. I guess Ill start over with 3.5.. 3.1, 3.2 was crap, 3.3 never came out and 3.4 was awesome..

The 3DMark2003 shader optimizations found in previous CATALYST? releases have been removed
 
Just fired up a game of Morrowind with my 9700 @ 1600 x 1200 and it was fine...leaving the boat and all. Is this a 9800 specific problem?

You should be glad ATI is saving you the grief resulting from actually playing that game. 😉

MW is a good game if your are patient. One of those games that you don't beat in a few days or weeks. Also, works with my 9700 just fine . 🙂
 
Know where i can get MW for cheap? I played over a friends house (on his comp that was getting like 10fps gave me a headache and a 5400rpm drive loading ughhh...)

BTW will those drivers work with the R9800Pro 128mb ver? I didn the find driver thing for the R9800pro and nothing came up but when i do it for the R9700pro they come up, so the cat3.5's will work with all ATI cards right?

I'm confused! Help me out

It's $27.90 here. The Catalyst 3.5 are for the entire Radeon line AFAIK. This should go for the original Radeon 32mb all the way to the latest 9800's. 🙂
 
I'm scared.....


....if I get bored enough, I may install them.
So far my AIW9700 pro is giving me very comfortable framerates in MW at 1280x1024
 
Went to check out rage3d to see how the drivers are. Some still have BF1942 problems. More than 1/2 a thread about stupid CS problems. With some who seem like they have
no idea what their doing.
