Recently upgrade my 466 celeron to a 1.0 gig celly on a Asus p2-99b m/b.Noticed the side of my case is warm where the cpu hsf exhausts. I checked the hsf, it is rather warm to the touch but not hot.I installed a case fan to suck in cool air but it made little difference.I took off the case, unplugged the case fan(too loud, kids and wife complained),cpu hsf is noticeably cooler.Other than drilling holes in the side of my case to let the hsf air exhaust, what are my options?I don't want to run with the case off.Thanks.
