Hopefully he gets hired. It'll cut down on all the ridiculous P&N threads.
considering his absence in the last month of two...
gl there, TH.
Hopefully he gets hired. It'll cut down on all the ridiculous P&N threads.
Hey I'll take it, right now it's a non stop affair...so..
Just imagine all of the talking points he will accumulate throughout that week, with all those salt of the earth seamen types.
I wonder how many threads he will start on his first days off?
Yeah, and I'm getting an Excel spreadsheet together to document all the times you've turned me down.![]()
So you're saying TH will finally get to realize his life long dream of being up close and personal with other seamen?????

I knew this guy named Peter that used to work for Initech...he switched to construction.
Making bucks, getting exercise, working outside.....it wasn't too bad.
So you're saying TH will finally get to realize his life long dream of being up close and personal with other seamen?????

well you would get to work awfully close to a team of salty seamen for extended periods of time, so it's probably right up your alley.
That's what happens when you're doing a tug job right?
So, let's say TH gets hazed a bit.. And they take the fire hose and spray him with it, is it safe to say that TH got sprayed down by a bunch of seamen? I'm sure he'd enjoy that though...
Only TH could work an inland tug and still get soaked by seaman.
Yeah I can only image how fierce the seamen will get after they've all been tugging for 7 days straight.
All kidding aside, good luck TH. Seems like a tough job, but is likely just what you need to be happier.
Tuesday evening I heard a company was hiring. I called the first thing wednesday morning, they said they only accept in person applications.
I made up some BS excuse to take off from my job, drove 2 hours to fill out an application and hand in resume. Was told thank you and the application would be given to personal department. Felt kinda disappointed after 2 hour drive one way.
Wrote a letter last night to the personal coordinator, going to mail it to several other companies friday or saturday.
The company my buddy works for might be hiring some more people soon. The last ones they hired had previous experience.
