I got in an accident that wasn't my fault a couple weeks ago. I was in a '89 Acura Integra which took bumper, quarter-panel, and hood damage.
The real problem is that the guys insurance company wants to total it and the claim adjuster told me he's give me $2300 for it. I told him hell no! I checked and the blue book value from www.kbb.com is at least $4200. The guy told me they don't use the blue book! I figure it's pretty much the bible of used car values right?
Now the guy is looking through classifieds trying to find me a similar car. He's supposed to call me tomorrow. I'm not sure what to do with this guy, I would like to have them just give me the blue book value.
